Second performance of Pacific Theatre Ballet's Nutcracker, Saturday, December 17, 2011. Many of these photos were unfortunately partially blocked by heads or balloons in front of the stage. I was able to remove them successfully in some. You may find similar "unblocked" images in the gallery of the first performance. If there is a particular image that you really like in this gallery, but it has balloons or heads in the way, give me a call and I'll see if I can do more to remove them.

SMCHS CIF Division 1 State Championship 12-16-11

The Eagles played Bellarmine Prep from San Jose for the CIF Division 1 Championship at the Home Depot Center in Carson. The Eagles never quit, and came out on top in a seesaw battle to win it, 42-37, capping a season the team will never forget.

In a thrilling 27-13 victory, the Eagles captured the CIF Southern Section Pac 5 Championship at Anaheim Stadium. The Eagles' powerful ball-control offense and a stingy defense that gave up only one touchdown were keys to the win.

The Eagles advanced to the CIF Southern Section Pac-5 Division Championship game with a nail-biting come from behind victory over the Diablos of Mission Viejo, 21-20. Big offensive plays combined with a grinding ground game and tough defense to give the Eagles the win.

A thrilling end to the 2011 regular season pitted the Eagles against No. 1 Servite. Both offenses scored on practically every drive as the game became a shootout. Regulation time ended in a 35-35 tie. In the overtime period, Servite completed a two-point conversion to claim victory, 43-42.

Santa Margarita Catholic High School presented "Star of the Show - Encore", to celebrate the opening of the school's new Academic Services Center on September 17, 2011. This wonderful production included members of the Talon Theater performing scenes from 25 years of musical theater at SMCHS, the Chamber Singers, the Eagle Regiment, the Cheer/Song squads, the Dance Team with faculty members, the Football Team, the Steel Drum Band, and performances by Ryan Jin, Mark Schumacher, Francisco Calvo, John Paul Jennings, Grant Yosenick, Diana King, Alex Papandrea, and Alex Granito. What a great evening!
